Utah Companies lauded for workplace flexibility

Several Utah companies have been named winners of the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.

The awards are part of the "When Work Works" project, an initiative of the Families and Work Institute and the Institute for a Competitive Workforce.

Utah honorees include Prince, Perelson & Associates, 1-800 CONTACTS, Cooper Roberts Simonsen Architects, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Intermountain Healthcare, Jones Waldo Holbrook & McDonough, McKinnon-Mulherin Inc., Redmond Minerals Inc. and SelectHealth.

They will be honored at an awards ceremony Aug. 29 hosted by the Salt Lake Chamber.
