Project-Based Employment

We are accepting applications for the following project-based positions:

Writer. Candidates must have at least two years of successful experience designing, writing, and formatting documents for online and hardcopy delivery, including any of the following: system and product documentation, web-based and instructor-led training materials, proposals, user guides, and presentations. Be prepared to show samples of your work and have your writing and computer skills tested. BA/BS Degree.

Proposal Writer. Candidates must have prior experience writing proposals and have a past history of successful project-based work. Out-of-state assignments generally last two weeks to two months. Must be able to meet productivity guidelines while editing and proofing own work. Ability to meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively is essential. Be prepared to show samples of your work and have your writing and computer skills tested. BA/BS Degree.

Editor. Candidates must have at least three years of experience editing a wide variety of documents such as proposals, guides, and sales and training materials for grammar, content, organization, and mechanics. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word's online editing markup tools. Must have excellent knowledge of the English language, grammar, and spelling. Must be able to edit according to Chicago, AP, or MLA styles. Knowledge of information design or instructional design principles preferred. Be prepared to have your editing and computer skills tested. BA/BS Degree.

Instructional Designer. Candidates must have at least three years of successful experience producing training materials for both web-based and instructor-led learning. These positions require demonstrated knowledge of instructional systems design, understanding of adult learners, and strong writing, editing, communication, and computer skills. Must be proficient at using Microsoft Word. Be prepared to show samples of your work and have your instructional design, writing, and computer skills tested. BA/BS Degree.

Graphic Designer. Candidates must have at least two years of successful experience creating a wide variety of graphics for both paper-based and online projects. Proposal experience a plus. Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Good knowledge of design required. Familiarity with PC and digital pre-press also desired. BA/BS Degree.
